Beyond Basics: Year One
Join us as we traverse beyond the basics. This course aims to deliver on subjects such as Tajwīd, Tafsīr Hadīth, Fiqh, Arabic Language and more on a foundational level. This will allow the student to tap into various sciences on a level that will encourage practice in one's life whilst gaining the tools to develop one's studies further.
What will I achieve by the end of this course?

A good understanding of the rules of Tajwīd and how to apply them.

An improved recitation of the Qur'ān

Basic understanding of the rules of Syntax and Morphology in the Arabic language

Understand key words in the Arabic language

A good understanding of the juriscprudic (Fiqh) fundamentals of Sharī'ah

A developing understanding of the life of Nabī Muḥammed ﷺ

Practical implementation of the teachings of Nabī Muḥammed ﷺ

Will I be studying any specific books?
The content for this course will be taken from various books and presented in the form of PowerPoint slides, for ease of understanding and clarity. However, as we advance, we will then refer directly to books.

Tajwīd - Rectifying the recitation of the Qur’an
Tafsīr - Commentary of oft-recited Suwar
Fiqh - Islamic Jurisprudence Fundamentals
Sīrah - Understanding authentic history
Arabic - Basic Arabic Syntax and Morphology
Is this course right for me?
This course starts at a basic level which allows anyone to be part of. However, as we progress, the course will deliver to a very strong foundational level. This programme is thus open to anyone who wishes to achieve a more detailed level of knowledge.
